September each year brings us beautiful weather and it’s always one of the busiest months of the year. School and communities for sure, but also many other aspects of our lives get moving forward again—moving to full steam. These opportunities take our time and our energy. As the people of God, we are called to share our talents and our energies to make a positive impact in our community.

At Trinity, September means that our various mission opportunities get moving forward full steam. Sunday School begins September 9th as does catechism classes for 7th and 8th grade students begin on Wednesday,   September 19th.

Speaking of the weekend of September 8th and 9th we keep in our hearts and minds the work of “God Work, Our Hands”; a weekend where for the last few years, many E.L.C.A. congregations across the country have chosen to work together to make an impact in community. Even though Trinity has not planned to participate in any formal way this year, all of us know family and friends across the country that will be sharing their time and talents to make a positive impact (with other like-minded folks) in their communities. Let’s keep these efforts in our thoughts and prayers the weekend of September 8-9.

As Trinity’s Pre-School; Day-long Travel Trips; Sunday School and Learning and three weekend Worship  services get moving forward full steam---it’s an opportunity to Gather Together as the   People of God as the Spirit leads Trinity forward into the future.

In Christ,

Pastor Thomas D. Prochaska
